In the 1930's, Grandpa Yerkes moved his family from the winters of Michigan to the golden beaches of Barbados. He and another gentlemen opened a gift shop where the iconic British West Indies Flying Fish became the mascot of their store and Yerkes' social club. Eighty years later Flying Fishing Art, styling the original top hat and monocle, unfolded the creativity of three of Yerkes' grandchildren.
